Project 2!

For this second project, I wanted to make a video where I enjoyed the campaign but I didn’t like the website. When I was looking for ad campaigns I stumbled upon this campaign called ONE: The Fight Against Extreme Poverty in Africa. In my video I wanted to show the audience what I liked, and didn’t like about the whole website I also wanted to add color for emotional effect, and also I took pictures from their Instagram, so there was a connection between the pictures and the website. I liked where the whole campaign was going, what they were fighting for, and what they were trying to accomplish. What I didn’t like about it was the whole layout of the website. As you will see in my video, you will notice that on some of the pages (like the About Page) were very cluttered. The content of these pages had a lot of good information but they seemed to be lacking proximity. The way the images were setup were all in a clutter. This was unappealing to my eye, because it was a lot of information to look at, at once. The words on the pages also lacked color. I think that if they had added color to their pages it would have added an emotional effect to the website. In my opinion, I would rather look at a page that has color then a page that is just black and white. I want to be reading something that is also going to catch my attention because of the layout of the page not just from the words on the page. I liked the context that they gave the reader but some more internal/external links would have helped them be more organized.

Here is the link to my video!
